Scholarship Opportunities

District Council 21 is proud to offer our members and their dependents opportunities to advance their education. We accept applications for multiple different scholarships throughout the year. For more information on a particular scholarship, see below.

IUPAT District Council 21 Benevolent Scholarship 

This scholarship is available to children and legal dependents of Local 277, 694, 1009, 1047, 1331, and 1310 members in good standing, who expect to be enrolled in a degree or certificate program for the Fall 2024 semester. Applicants must submit an essay, not less than 500 words with this completed application form and proof of enrollment for the Fall 2024 semester via US mail. Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2024. Hand-delivered essays will not be accepted.


Scholarship Fund of New Jersey Central Labor Council

In order to qualify for a Southern New Jersey Central Labor Council Scholarship, you must be a high school graduate
planning to continue your education at a college, Camden County College, Rutgers Camden, Rowen Glassboro and Rowen of South Jersey. You must be either an active Union member in good standing or the spouse or dependent child of an active Union member in good standing. For all applicants: Please submit the completed application on this page along with a copy of your grades for the current school year 2024-2025 and your researched essay. Deadline: Tuesday, April 30, 2024. To be eligible, all applications and required documents must be postmarked on or before April 30, 2024
