Scholarship Opportunities
District Council 21 is proud to offer our members’ dependents opportunities to advance their education. We accept applications for multiple different scholarships throughout the year. For more information on a particular scholarship, see below.
Open Scholarships
New Jersey Benevolent Scholarship
This scholarship is available to legal dependents of good-standing members of Locals 277, 694, 1009, 1047, 1331, or 1976, enrolled or accepted to attend a certificate program during the Fall 2026 Semester. The deadline is April 30, 2026. All applicants must submit an essay of no less than 500 words of the chosen topic, a completed application form, and proof of Fall 2026 enrollment. Hand delivered essays will not be accepted and any letter postmarked after April 30, 2026 will not be selected.
Recipients will be notified by July 1, 2026.

Ralph Williams Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available to members of Locals 252, 1955, 2011 and 2018 that meet all requirements.
